Svetlana Bakushina Fusion Project at Cine-Teatro Louletano
On March 9, 2024, the Svetlana Bakushina Fusion Project performed at Cine-Teatro Louletano as part of the MED Flavour series presented by Festival MED. The concert showcased an original blend of classical, jazz, and experimental elements, highlighting the group’s unique artistic identity.
The Core Ensemble
The core team featured Svetlana Bakushina on piano and harpsichord, Seibas Gamboa on cello, and Jorge Carrilho on drums. Together, they created a textured soundscape.
Guest Artists
The performance was enriched by invited artists: soprano Michele Tomaz, whose voice added a lyrical intensity; saxophonist Daniel Marques, contributing expressive and soulful lines; and video artist Anastasia Maystrenko, who transformed the stage with her live visuals and animated projections.
A Multidisciplinary Experience
This concert was more than a musical performance—it was an immersive artistic experience that combined sound, voice, and visual storytelling in a single act.
