A collaborative project of two composers: Seibas Gamboa – Violoncello and Svetlana Bakushina – piano. The project features their original compositions in a cinematic contemporary classical style.
Seibas Gamboa – Violoncello, an accomplished principal cellist, embarked on his musical journey with various youth orchestras before pursuing advanced studies under the tutelage of Prof. Schulz in Mainz, Germany. In 2014, he assumed the role of conductor with the Symphony Orchestra Mainz, holding the position for two years. Afterward, he embarked on a musical odyssey across Europe and China until the pandemic emerged. During his time at home, Seibas devoted himself to composition, resulting in his debut album “Odisea Gorila” and a collection of compositions for eight cellos, all performed solo by himself. In the previous year, Seibas left a significant mark as a soloist, recording “Espejos en la Arena” alongside the University Orchestra of Puebla in Mexico.
