Festival Debut: Opening for Lisbon’s Funk Icons
Svetlana Bakushina live with her fusion quartet debuted at the “Noites no Mirante” Music Festival on August 14, 2022, in Portugal. They performed on the main outdoor stage, opening for Cais do Sodré Funk Connection — Lisbon’s legendary 9-piece soul/funk band, famous for their high-energy sound and vintage groove. It was a memorable night and their first major public appearance at a large-scale festival. Performing before a full audience and alongside such iconic musicians marked a milestone for the project.
