“The World Around Us” – Educational TV Series

The World Around Us is an educational television series for children and families created by director Leonid Sikoruk in Novosibirsk. The project consists of about 30 short films (around 4.5 hours of total runtime), each lasting roughly 15 minutes.

The series explores a wide range of scientific and everyday topics — from physics and astronomy to geometry and natural phenomena — combining clear explanations, visual experiments, and playful storytelling. Its goal is to spark curiosity and imagination while helping children understand how the world works.
